Dear Sir or Madam:
Brad Williams is a junior and fishes in the Bass Kids of Indiana. He received the chance to fish in the IBF tournament trail of 2004. He was awarded this opportunity by being the 2003 junior state champ. The award was donated as an all paid entry fee to the IBF tournament as a co-angler by Mr. Rob Chittwood. The tournament started at Patoka Lake it took Brad a short time to get used to fishing from the back of the boat. By the end of the day he was able to weigh in one good fish of 5.92 lbs. He thought he was going to get big bass, but got beat out by just ounces. Then it was on to Monroe, and then the Ohio River where the water was up a lot and was still able to hold enough points to be in the top fifty. The next stop was the Ohio River again at Rocky Point and he caught one there to help on his points. Brad's dad also fished in the tournaments as a co-angler and was doing fair and they enjoyed the competition between one another. Monroe was the next stop and Brad knew he needed to do well here to get in the classic. His fishing skills worked for him that day as he brought in a 3.62lb bass. This got him 5th place for the day and tied him with his dad for 23rd place over all. The last tournament was at Wawasee where Brad and his dad joked about out fishing each other, but down deep they hoped they both made the classic and they did. Brad was 16 while fishing the IBF tournament finished in 16th place on the co-angler side. He and his dad are proud he done so well in his first adult tournament. He made several new friends and would like to thank all the people that made fishing the IBF possible and making him feel welcomed. Congratulations Brad Williams and good luck in the future.
Sincerely,
Mark Williams
