2008 Junior Trail,
Summit Lake
The first stop on the 2008 IBF Junior Invitational Trail was April 12th at Summit Lake. The weather, all I can say is SORRY kids, but Mother Nature did that, not me! It was cold, rainy, and very windy. But even so, those that toughed it out, did well. I want to congratulate all of the junior anglers for giving it a great effort!
Finishing first was Brett Rounsaville, and man did he catch'em. He brought in five fish that tipped the scales at a whopping 12.53 lbs. Great job Brett! Second place went to Jacob Wheeler, also with a five fish limit weighing 8.55 lbs. In third place was Tyler Pendygraft with a five fish limit weighing 7.59 lbs. Fourth place went to Wayne Hartsburg with two fish at 6.57 lbs. Wayne also had Big Bass of the tournament at 5.08 lbs. Rounding out the top five was Jeff Barney with one fish at 1.61 lbs.

Qualifying for the year end Fish-Off was Brett Rounsaville in the 15-18 age group, Issac Hartsburg in the 11-14 age group, and J.T. Phillips in the 10 & under age group. Each of these junior anglers now has the opportunity to fish to be our Indiana State Junior Champion in August on Glenn Flint Lake.
