For the 2004 season, there will be a new Junior State Finals format. In an effort to reach more youths, this year instead of having one tournament, we will have four invitational type tournaments. An invitation is extended to all youths, age 17 & under, who reside in the state of Indiana, or are a member of an Indiana Junior club. A youth can fish as many as all four (4) tournaments or just one tournament to have the opportunity to qualify as the Indiana Junior State Champion and/or make the 2005 Indiana Junior State Team. Points will be awarded to contestants as to how they finish at each tournament. The combined points of a contestant's best two (2) tournaments will decide the state champion and as to who qualifies for the junior team. Remember though, to qualify for the team, the youth must be a member of a Junior BASS club while fishing any of the tournaments and must remain a member of a junior club in 2005. Age and date of birth will also be a determining factor in who qualifies for the team.   (Important, please read and understand the rules on the entry form.) The dates and locations are as follows: April 4, Hardy Reservoir, state park ramp, 30 boat field max. June 13, Patoka Reservoir, Newton-Stewart south ramp July 18, Brookville Reservoir, Garr Hill ramp, 75 boat field max. August 29, Salamonie Reservoir, Dora-New Holland ramp, 30 boat field max. Registration starts 5:00 AM at each tournament. Actual tournament hours will be announced. Take-off order will be determined by order of entry.
