Dave & Deacon Cashdollar - Gary Veach & Rich Garringer - Benjie Wilhelm & Scott Brenneke On a cold and windy day on Brookville Lake October 16, 2004, 18 clubs participated in the Zone 3 Tournament of Champions. Tournament Director was Merle West, Zone 3 District 8 Director and member of Connersville Bass Club which hosted. Fifteen fish were caught totaling 34 lb. and 10 oz. Plaques were awarded to each fisherman of the 1st place team. Mid State Bassmasters team members Benjie Wilhelm and Scott Brenneke won 1st place with two fish and a total weight of 6 lb. and 14 oz. This team also won Big Bass with a 5 lb. 11 oz. largemouth bass. Country Bass Busters team members Rich Garringer and Gary Veach won 2nd place with three fish and a total weight of 6 lb. and 6 oz. Connersville Bass Club team members Dave Cashdollar and Deacon Cashdollar won 3rd place with two fish and a total weight of 5 lb. and 0 oz. Other clubs weighing in fish were Gad-A-Bout Bassmasters, Indy Procasters, Aqua Bassmasters, Backwater Bass Club, Cincy Bass Club and Angling Addicts. |
